Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. seeks a licensed Dental Hygienist in Waldorf, MD to deliver preventive care, educate patients and support a collaborative dental team.

You’ll practice at the top of your scope, maintain accurate records, stay current with dental technologies, and foster a welcoming patient experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00, with a $70–$72/hr rate plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including PTO, health, dental, vision, HSA, 401k and CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Hygienist or eligible to become licensed in the state of practice.
• New graduates are welcome!
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for patient care, education and prevention.
• Commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive dental hygiene care using evidence-based protocols.
• Perform appropriate assessments, diagnostics and preventive treatments within your scope of practice.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention and the connection between oral and overall health.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and create a welcoming, judgment-free experience.
• Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to identify patient needs and personalize treatment.
• Stay current with dental technologies, instruments and best practices that enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable safety and compliance standards.
