Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Danvers seeks a part-time dental hygienist to join our patient-centered team. This 21-hour-per-week role runs Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is based in Danvers, MA.

The hygienist will perform preventive and therapeutic hygiene, radiographs, fluoride treatments, and maintain medical histories and documentation, while supporting scheduling and patient care. Travel to other Tufts Special Care Dental Clinics is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene.
• 1-3 years clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Massachusetts Dental Hygiene License.
• Travel to other Tufts Special Care Dental Clinics is required.
• Intermediate proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care.
• Collaborate with the dental team on treatment planning and documentation.
• Support clinic operations by managing hygiene supplies and infection control; ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Promote a positive patient experience and assist with scheduling and communications.
• Travel to other Tufts clinics as required.
