Job summary

First Choice Community Health Centers in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to promote dental health through prophylaxis, cancer screening, radiographs and education. You will help maintain records and ensure compliance with dental standards.

New grads are welcome. A North Carolina Dental Hygiene License and CPR (BLS) are required to join our team committed to community health and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• North Carolina Dental Hygiene License is required.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification required.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provides prophylactic and preventive care including fluoride and sealants.
• Exposes and develops radiographs.
• Provides oral hygiene education to patients.
• Develops education programs with the dental director.
• Maintains accurate and legible dental patient records.
• Keeps current with state and federal laws, standards, and guidelines.
• Assists with CQI for the dental program.
• Participates in continuing education seminars.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
