Job summary

VA Smiles - North Fredericksburg is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist in Fredericksburg, Virginia to join our clinical team by delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting.

You will perform routine cleanings, screenings, and patient education, assist dentists with exams and X-rays, and maintain accurate records while upholding sterilization standards. A RDH license and degree in Dental Hygiene are required, with local anesthesia and CPR/First Aid helpful.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
• License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
• Certifications: Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health assessments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care.
