Job summary

New Holland Dental Associates in Lancaster, PA seeks a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join a fast-paced general and private practice. The ideal candidate is X-ray certified and fluently bilingual in Spanish, providing exceptional patient care and cleanings.

Weekly schedule includes weekdays with no weekends, and Overtime is paid at 1.5x during busy periods; generous benefits, PTO and 401(k) are offered. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $45 to $50 with licensure requirements met.

Responsibilities

Join our dynamic dental team as a valued Dental Hygienists , Dental Assistant and Receptionist in a fast-paced General and Private practice in Lancaster area! We are seeking a dedicated individual who is X-Ray certified and a Spanish speaker to enhance our patient care experience.

Pay

• $45 - $50 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Flexible schedule
• Day shift
• No weekend shifts
• Work Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 AM -5 PM
• Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
• Overtime: Overtime available during busy seasons and paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
• Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
• Holiday Shifts: Occasional holiday shifts, compensated at double time.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Basic life support, Driver’s license, Licensed dental hygienist, X-ray / Radiography Certification, Local Anesthesia Certification

Preferences

• License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Job Description

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and screenings
• Take and develop dental X-rays and intraoral photographs
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants
• Perform periodontal therapy and maintenance
• Administer local anesthesia as permitted by state regulations
• Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical records
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
