Job summary

Coast-Dental-and-Orthodontics-1 is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to deliver clinical hygiene services in a team environment. The RDH will assess periodontal health, plan care with the dentist, and educate patients on oral health practices in a Florida clinic.

The role requires a current RDH license, Florida clearance, and BLS/CPR certification. Strong manual dexterity and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the state.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
• Current BLS and CPR certification.
• Willing to partner with the dentist and work well as a team.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assess teeth, bone and periodontal tissues for abnormalities.
• Create periodontal treatment plans based on the dentist's diagnosis.
• Assist the dentist with hygiene, periodontal care and education.
• Perform prophylaxis and, when indicated, full mouth debridement.
• Place locally administered antibiotics as adjunctive therapy.
• Perform in-office whitening and radiographic positioning.
• Provide oral health education and home care recommendations.
