Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, plaque removal, and stain reduction.
• Assess oral health, document findings, and communicate with the dentist.
• Take and interpret radiographs according to safety guidelines.
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient histories and treatment records.
• Assist during procedures within the hygienist scope.
• Ensure patient comfort with clear communication and empathy.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, OSHA, HIPAA compliance.
• Support operatory setup, equipment care, and inventory.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager to improve patient flow and standards.
• Participate in meetings and continuing education for practice growth.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered, team-oriented environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
