Job summary

Paycom - ATS Hygienist role in Des Moines, IA. Part-time, 2-3 days per week, Monday to Friday clinic hours 8am-5pm. Requires current Hygienist licensure and CPR, plus 2+ years' experience and a dental hygiene degree.

Duties include cleaning, scaling, polishing, x-ray processing, charting evaluations, and patient education to reinforce the dentist's plan. Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s in a related clinical field; Licensure and CPR required.

Qualifications

Job description

The Hygienist assists the dentist in providing oral health to patients by cleaning, scaling and polishing teeth. Takes and processes x-rays. Records evaluation of mouth conditions and extent of prophylaxis on dental chart to provide dentist with information for more complete diagnosis and subsequent treatment if needed. Provides the patient with ongoing preventative oral care through patient education, treatment and reinforcement of the doctor’s treatment plan.Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. This is a Part Time position, 2-3 days a week.Education: Bachelor’s or Associates Degree (depending on state) in a related clinical field.Experience: Two or more years of experience as Hygienist preferred.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current Licensure as a Hygienist and CPR Certificate required.
