Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Dental Hygiene school.
• Licensed by the State of Minnesota.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of previous dental experience.
• Previous supervisor/instructor experience preferred.
• Must possess and demonstrate high level clinical skills and patient care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis or periodontal therapy and provide oral cancer screening and radiographic studies.
• Conduct oral assessments.
• Provide patient education related to practicing good oral hygiene.
• Provide other duties related to preservation of dental health and prevention of dental disease.
• Occasional supervision of dental hygiene students.
