Job summary

Passion Dental in Hartford, CT is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our on-site team. The role offers $50–$60 per hour, with 4 or 5 days per week and a full-time schedule, focusing on preventive care, patient education, and clinical support in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice.

You will perform prophylaxis and X-rays, maintain EMR documentation, and uphold infection control standards. A quarterly bonus and an FSA are available to support your work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive dental procedures independently.
• Familiarity with dental software.
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Experience with pediatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing.
• Conduct patient assessments, reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
• Take and process dental X-rays and other diagnostic imaging.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
• Assist with chairside procedures when needed using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR systems.
• Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused clinical environment.
