LifeSmiles Complete Health Dentistry in Cadillac, MI is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused practice. You will perform thorough cleanings, conduct patient assessments, educate on oral health, and support infection prevention in a modern setting.

The role requires an active Michigan RDH license, CPR/BLS, and strong HIPAA compliance. Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix and a commitment to exceptional patient care are preferred.

Qualifications

Active State of Michigan license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Current CPR and BLS Certification.
Proven expertise in healthcare infection prevention and control protocols.
Demonstrated ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
Strong clinical skills and experience in a general dentistry setting.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive Prophylaxis: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, while maintaining high standards of patient comfort.
Patient Assessment: Conduct detailed screenings, including periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and reviewing medical histories.
Oral Health Education: Empower patients through personalized instruction on oral hygiene techniques and the connection between oral health and overall wellness.
Diagnostic Imaging: Capture high-quality digital radiographs for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all patient data is handled with strict confidentiality.
Infection Control: Adhere to rigorous healthcare infection prevention and control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Pay

$34 - $40 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Requirements
