Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, periodontal assessments and fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, brushing, flossing and nutrition.
• Take digital dental x-rays and assist the dentist in treatment planning.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and document patient medical histories.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as required.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Utilize intraoral cameras, digital charting and laser treatments as available.
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
