Job summary

DentalWorks is seeking an enthusiastic dental hygienist to build positive patient relationships and deliver preventive care, education, and counseling for oral health. You will work closely with dentists and a hygiene support team to provide thorough prophylaxis, scaling, and patient education across locations.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dental hygiene.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Excellent verbal skills for professional communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish, and preventive fluoride/sealant applications.
• Accurately chart patient dental history and periodontal status; maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Assist dentist as directed and provide support during procedures as needed.
• Administer local anesthetics where permitted by practice act.
