Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR (BLS) Certification.
• Exceptional knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
• Any additional certification/license as required by the state to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level care with excellent chair-side manner and build patient trust.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers.
• Document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Take x-rays and intraoral images to assist in treatment planning and note progress.
• Perform precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with dentist prescriptions.
• Handle emergency measures during patient treatment.
• Give at-home care and oral health maintenance instructions.
