Family Practice and Counseling Services Network (FPCSN) is seeking a compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing Dental Services team in Philadelphia. This role offers either part-time or full-time schedules and is on-site at our 11th Street location.

As a Hygienist, you will perform hygiene assessments, provide cleanings, radiographs, sealants, and preventive care, while educating patients and collaborating with dentists to improve oral health in the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited U.S. Dental Hygiene program.
• Current Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist License.
• Pennsylvania Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) certification.
• Pennsylvania Local Anesthesia License.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments including medical history review and periodontal assessments.
• Provide routine preventive services: cleanings, polishing, radiographs, fluoride, sealants.
• Develop individualized hygiene care plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dentists and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Document patient histories and clinical findings in the EHR.
• Participate in recall management and routine follow-ups.
• Maintain infection control and operatory readiness.
