Job summary

Willamette Dental is seeking a highly qualified Dental Hygienist to collaborate with the dental team and provide exceptional patient care at the Mill Plain Practice. The role includes a full-time schedule with 3-10 hour shifts and a pay range of $54.00 to $63.00 per hour, with travel to WD locations as needed.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive hygiene care, radiographs, patient education, and contributing to treatment planning within state scope.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Local anesthesia endorsement; required.
• N2O permit; required and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Apply the dental hygiene process of care (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation).
• Gather accurate patient data for systemic and oral assessment; perform required exams.
• Review medical, dental and social history; take and update blood pressure.
• Take radiographs appropriate within guidelines and ALARA.
• Document findings in the EDR system and communicate treatment plans with the doctor.
