Job summary

Willamette Dental Group in Salem, OR is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our Lancaster Practice team. You will provide comprehensive hygiene care, educate patients, and collaborate with our dental team to achieve optimal oral health.

The role requires graduation from an accredited hygiene program, current Oregon license, Local anesthesia endorsement, N2O permit, and BLS. Travel to other WD locations within a reasonable range may be required.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program is required.
  • Current Oregon dental hygiene license in good standing.
  • Local anesthesia endorsement required.
  • N2O permit required and kept current.
  • Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the dental hygiene process of care (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation).
  • Gather patient data and perform exams, radiographs within ALARA guidelines.
  • Communicate treatment plans and obtain patient consent.
  • Provide prophy, scaling, SRP, fluoride, sealants and related care.
  • Educate patients on oral health and self-care and document in EDR.
  • Maintain infection control and PPE compliance; travel to WD locations as needed.
