Essenti Talent seeks a highly qualified Dental Hygienist to join a community health center in Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time position features four 10-hour days, enabling focused patient care and collaborative teamwork.

You will deliver preventive and therapeutic dental care, perform radiographs, charting, and sealants, and support clinic operations. A patient-centered approach and strict infection control are essential commitments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with licensure and established dental hygiene protocols
• Conduct comprehensive oral assessments, including medical history review, dental and periodontal charting
• Take and interpret radiographs and intraoral images
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, debridement, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Monitor blood pressure and assess overall oral health status at each visit
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care
• Document all clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient interactions in the electronic dental record
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
• Support clinic operations, including recall systems, supply management, and operatory organization
• Assist during peak clinic times and collaborate with dental assistants and providers
