Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center in Hawaii seeks a full-time Dental Hygienist under the supervision of a qualified dentist. Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited dental hygiene program recognized by the Hawaii State Board of Dental Examiners.
• Current license to practice as a dental hygienist in the State of Hawaii.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Take radiographs and perform comprehensive dental health assessments.
• Scale and root plane for periodontal therapy and maintenance.
• Educate patients on oral health and provide preventive services (sealants, fluoride varnish).
• Maintain patient recall systems and promote health at outreach events.
• Work as part of a dental team, staying current with oral health trends and materials.
• Occasionally work at multiple sites and participate in residency supervision/mentoring.
