Job summary

Elsevier seeks licensed Dental Hygienists to serve as Subject Matter Experts for an AI-powered learning platform supporting dental hygiene learners. Content reviewed may also support dental assisting learners where topics overlap.

Time Commitment: 5–15 hours/week (Minimum quarterly participation). Duration: 1 year contract (subject to annual renewal) starting ASAP. Compensation: $55/hr. Contract Structure: W2 position contracted through a 3rd party agency.

Qualifications

• RDH license in good standing
• Graduate of a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated dental content across anatomy, radiography, pathology, instrumentation, infection control, and patient education.
• Apply evaluation metrics to assess accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance.
• Provide expert feedback to improve clarity, safety, and educational value.
• Complete asynchronous evaluations within defined timelines (5 days to 2 weeks).
• Participate in periodic evaluation cycles and ad-hoc assignments.
