Job summary

Marketplace Dental Care in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team at 8923 South Meridian Street, Suite B1. You will provide preventive care, educate patients, and support ongoing oral health.

We offer a Monday–Thursday schedule with one Friday per month, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, PTO, holidays, extensive benefits, retirement options, and free CE with mentorship in a supportive practice.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in IN.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures.
• CPR Certification

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in IN
• and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Open to new graduates or years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
