Job summary

Dental365 in Woonsocket, RI is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join a modern practice focused on concierge patient care and safety. You’ll conduct exams, take X-rays, and provide personalized preventive treatment in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license in the applying state.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening and meticulous documentation.
• Any additional state-required certifications/licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge care with excellent chair-side manners and build trust with patients.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers.
• Document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Take x-rays and intraoral images for treatment planning.
• Conduct precise oral hygiene procedures per dentist's plan.
• Handle emergency measures during patient treatment.
• Provide at-home care and oral health maintenance instructions.

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Mondays: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Fridays: 8:00am - 5:00pm

*Please note: We are flexible in scheduling - open to adding Thursdays and/or removing Mondays if desired!

Working as a Hygienist with us:

• 1-Hour new patient and recall appointments: We prioritize quality care with dedicated time for each patient.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Providing a high level of concierge care with exceptional chair side manners, building trust with our patients.
• Enhancing overall oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers.
• Thoroughly documenting and reviewing detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Taking x-rays and intraoral images to aide in treatment planning and note any progress/changes.
• Conducting precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist.
• Proficiently handle emergency measures in response to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
• Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state you are applying.
• Current CPR (BLS) Certification.
• Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, encompassing dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
• Any additional certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
