Qualifications

• Current Virginia dental hygienist license and degree in dental hygiene.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Experience with robotic/advanced scanners or EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental hygiene services to patients.
• Perform dental screenings and collect health histories.
• Take dental radiographs and document findings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
• Wednesday: 9:30am – 7:30pm
• Full time | Four-day workweek

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of clinical experience required.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
