Job summary

Woodland Family Dental Care is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our established practice in Illinois. You’ll enjoy a $7,000 welcome bonus, flexible hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a 401(k), paid holidays, and paid time off.

Open to part-time as well, we emphasize a supportive team and ongoing CE opportunities, digital x-rays, iTero, and modern equipment. At least an associate or bachelor in dental hygiene and current IL license are required,

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in IL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care and patient education.
• Utilize digital x-rays and intraoral scanners to support diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate medical histories and documentation.

Location:Woodland Family Dental Care6631 Grand Avenue, Unit 1Gurnee, Illinois 60031Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in IL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided.
