Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure with no adverse actions on license.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software; Dentrix preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in patient-centric care while complying with state boards.
• Educate patients on prevention and links between periodontal and systemic health.
• Chart periodontal conditions to support the treatment plan with the Dentist.
• Collaborate with team on scheduling and ensuring an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements


• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health


• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan


• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions


• Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients


• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
