Job summary

Unify Community Health in Spokane, WA is hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will perform patient X-ray procedures, periodontal charting, and provide preventative care and education while supporting infection control and clinic efficiency.

This full-time role offers bilingual patients interaction, opportunities for loan repayment, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and a 403(b) plan. WA license required and CPR within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Dental Hygiene school.
• Active WA State Dental Hygiene license or Limited Dental Hygiene License.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 10.
• Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene concepts.
• Skilled in dental anesthesia and restorative procedures.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues of all ages.
• Effective time management and resource utilization to efficiently complete work within set deadlines.
• High level of dexterity and coordination.
• Basic proficiency with Electronic Dental Records, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient X-ray procedures and store X-rays.
• Complete periodontal charting and prepare tools for Provider exams.
• Perform preventative periodontal care and assist with restorations.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
• Provide oral hygiene education and formulate treatment plans.
• Support infection control program and provide input for clinic efficiency improvements.
• May participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of dental education programs.

Position Highlights

• $49.10-$60.76/hour DOE
• $10,000.00 Hiring Bonus Structure:
  • At Hire: $3,00.00
  • At 180 days (6 months): $4,00.00
  • At 12 months: $3,00.00
• Bonus will be pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE)
• Additional pay for bilingual skills, paid on hours worked
