Downtown Dental Associates, LLP in Anderson, SC is seeking a Dental Hygienist. Earn a $10,000 signing bonus and enjoy a schedule of Monday–Thursday 7:45 AM–5:00 PM and one Friday per month 7:45 AM–1:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Active SC dental hygiene license and degree in dental hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care with time for each patient.
• Maintain accurate medical histories and documentation.
• Participate in hygiene mentor program and ongoing education.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome!
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
