Qualifikationen

• Florida dental hygienist license current or pending.

• CPR certification required.

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional, patient-centered preventive and periodontal care
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, screenings, and other hygiene services within the scope of practice
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and recommended treatment
• Build strong relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable and confident in their care
• Partner with the doctor and clinical team to support comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Follow clinical, infection control, and safety standards
• Contribute to office and hygiene goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality patient care
• Work collaboratively with the entire team to keep the day running smoothly

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients, provide preventative care, and maintain patients’ dental health
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
