Job summary

Mirada Market Dental Care in San Antonio, FL is seeking a friendly Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative team of 17. Our state-of-the-art facility features 11 operatories and a supportive culture that values patient care and community.

You will hold an active Florida hygiene license, bring 2–3 years of hygiene experience, CPR certification, and local anesthesia; bilingual abilities welcome. We offer healthcare, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, and opportunities for bonuses and ongoing education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of Dental Hygiene experienced required
• Local Anesthesia Certification required
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus!
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
