Job summary

Papillion Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will provide comprehensive dental hygiene care and education to patients in a supportive, patient‑centered environment.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Enjoy a schedule Monday–Thursday 7:30am–5:30pm with occasional Fridays 8:00am–12:00pm, plus a $7,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Nebraska.
• CPR Certification.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Nebraska
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply!

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems

Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
