Your Talent Team is hiring a Dental Hygienist in Pittsburgh, PA, for a full-time role focused on preventive and therapeutic dental care within a community health center. You will deliver patient-centered care, support clinic operations, and participate in community oral health education initiatives.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, radiographs, prophylaxis and perio care, patient education, and collaboration with dental staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with licensure and established dental hygiene protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive oral assessments, including medical history review, dental and periodontal charting.
• Take and interpret radiographs and intraoral images.
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, debridement, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Monitor blood pressure and assess overall oral health status at each visit.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Document all clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient interactions in the electronic dental record.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
• Support clinic operations, including recall systems, supply management, and operatory organization.
• Assist during peak clinic times and collaborate with dental assistants and providers.
