Role Description

This full-time, on-site Dental Hygienist role is located in Pinole, CA. The Dental Hygist will perform routine preventive care, including dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride treatments, while educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health. Daily tasks include assessing patients’ oral health, documenting findings, taking and reviewing dental radiographs, and collaborating with the dentist on treatment planning. The role also involves maintaining sterile and organized operatories, adhering to infection control protocols, and providing clear, compassionate communication to patients of diverse backgrounds. The Dental Hygienist will work as part of a cohesive clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive, safe care environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Dentistry and Dental Care within a clinical setting.
• Strong skills in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis for preventive and routine care.
• Knowledge of Periodontal Disease, including assessment, monitoring, and patient education.
• Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist in California and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Experience with dental radiography, charting, and electronic dental records is preferred.
• Commitment to infection control standards, patient safety, and quality assurance.
