Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of Iowa.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Mandatory Reporter Certification (Child & Dependent Adult Abuse).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive oral health assessments and periodontal evaluations.
• Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy habits.
• Build trusting relationships that encourage lifelong oral health.
• Collaborate with dentists, medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and care teams to support whole-person care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach opportunities.

Occasional travel to other Infinity Health dental locations may be required.
