Qualifications

• Must have a clear and current Florida Dental Hygiene license
• Must have a current/active CPR certificate
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices
• Skills using dental instruments and performing dental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning
• Ability to instruct patients in preventive dental techniques
• Ability to work with dentists, assistants, student assistants and volunteers in Marion County
• Bilingual English/Spanish – highly preferred
• Pediatric Experience – highly preferred
