Job summary

HirePower is seeking dedicated Dental Hygienists to join our team in New York, delivering preventive dental care and supporting patients with education and screening. You’ll conduct exams, perform cleanings and radiographs, assist dentists, and uphold infection control standards while building relationships with patients and supporting community outreach.

The role requires NY RDH license, a certificate to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• NY Registered Dental Hygienist license required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a RDH.
• Certificate to Administer & Monitor Local Infiltration Anesthesia & Nitrous Oxide Analgesia required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient screenings, oral health assessments, and charting.
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal scaling, and root planing.
• Take and upload dental digital imaging and radiographs.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation.
• Apply preventive agents (fluoride, sealants) and manage prescribed subgingival medications.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Assist dentists chairside and maintain infection control standards.
• Provide administrative support for oral cancer screenings and community outreach.

We are seeking dedicated Dental Hygienists to join the team. This role encompasses responsible professional work in preventive dental care, with opportunities to grow into advanced responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct patient screenings, oral health assessments, and charting.
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal scaling, and root planing.
• Take and upload dental digital imaging and radiographs.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation.
• Apply preventive agents (fluoride, sealants) and place subgingival prescription drugs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Assist dentists chairside and maintain strict infection control standards.
• Provide administrative support for oral cancer screenings and community outreach (Level II).

What We Need

• Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist issued by the New York State Department of Education.
• Certificate to Administer & Monitor Local Infiltration Anesthesia & Nitrous Oxide Analgesia.
• One year of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $52 – $61 per hour, based on experience and skills.
