Job summary

Dental Care of Bennington is opening a brand-new dental office in Bennington, Nebraska, with a scheduled February 2027 opening. We will hire now and have you train at a nearby location until the opening date.

We are seeking 3 Dental Hygienists to build our NEW team and provide outstanding patient care in a supportive network. New hires will join a state-of-the-art practice and receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus along with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Nebraska dental hygienist license required and degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral member of the patient care team.
• Provide exceptional lifetime patient care.
• Participate in the Hygiene mentor program and ongoing education.

Minimum Qualifications

60;

• Current dental hygienist license in Nebraska and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduated and exeprienced hygienists are encourged to apply
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
