Naperville Dental Specialists in Naperville, IL is seeking a friendly, collaborative Dental Hygienist to join our team. The schedule includes Mon–Fri hours with varied start times and 60–90 minute appointment slots to provide comprehensive cleaning, SRP, and new patient care.

Formación

• Illinois dental hygienist license and degree in dental hygiene required.
• Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification.
• Knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and med history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform 60 minute prophys and recalls; 90 minute SRPs; 90 minute new patient appointments.
• Educate patients and document medical history; assist with exams and care planning.

Napervillle Dental Specialists is looking for a friendly, colllaborative Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Schedule

• Monday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Tuesday 8:30am-6:00pm
• Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm
• Friday 7:00am-2:00pm
• Single column, average of 7 patients/day
• 60 minute prophys and recalls
• 90 minute SRPs
• 90 minute New Patient appointments

Our multi-specialty practice offers general, cosmetic and implant dentistry in the heart of downtown Naperville under the guidance of board-certified prosthodontist Dr. Anthony LaVacca. In addition to Dr. LaVacca, we have a board-certified endodontist, two general dentists, a board-certified dental anesthesiologist and a board-certified oral surgeon on staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome!
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
