Advantage Dental+ is adding a Dental Hygienist to our patient-focused team in Myrtle Point, Oregon. We pride ourselves on a supportive environment, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Dental Hygienist will perform periodontal procedures, educate patients about prevention and health links, and work with the Dentist to develop tailored treatment plans. Strong communication and proficiency with MS Office and dental software are essential.

Competenze

• Licensed dental hygienist with active state licensure.
• 2+ years of experience as a licensed dental hygienist preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team members.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software applications.

• Perform periodontal procedures in alignment with state dental board requirements for patient safety and quality care.
• Educate patients on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease and links to overall health.
• Chart periodontal findings to support dentists in creating appropriate treatment plans.

Primary Responsibilities Of Our Dental Hygienists

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements


• Educate patients on the importance of preventing, diagnosing, and treating periodontal disease. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health


• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan


• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Qualifications To Join Us As a Dental Hygienist

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions


• Two (2)+ years' experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred


• Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients


• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software
