Job summary

Elite Dental Partners in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Dental Hygienist to join a patient-focused team. You’ll perform periodontal procedures, educate patients on oral health, and chart disease conditions to guide treatment with the Dentist.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff to ensure an outstanding patient experience and proper practice maintenance. Entry requires state licensure; two+ years preferred; Dentrix and Office software experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with State Dental Board with no adverse actions.
• Two or more years experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner best for the patient per state board requirements.
• Educate patients on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease and link to systemic health.
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with Dentist to develop treatment plans.
• Work with the team on scheduling and ensuring an exceptional patient experience and maintain equipment.

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment
