Job summary

Kids Dental Brands Midland Dentistry 4 Kids is seeking a friendly Hygienist to join our upbeat team. In this pediatric practice, hygienists educate families, promote preventive care, and help children build healthy habits in a fun, welcoming environment.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene, a Texas license, CPR/BLS, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Compensation is $45 per hour, with comprehensive health coverage, retirement plan, PTO, holidays, and wellness days.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Active Texas Dental Hygiene license.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patient.
• Record observations about the child’s dental health, including notes on any infections or other problems that may require attention.
• Examine gums to assess levels of periodontal disease.
• Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing and sharpening instruments.
• Applying fluorides and other dental decay prevention agents.
• Provide quality patient care and education regarding tooth and gum care.
