Middleburg Family Dental Care in Middleburg, FL is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join a collaborative team within the Heartland Dental network. You will deliver preventive care, screenings and patient education in a full-time clinical setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of clinical experience, Florida licensure, and a commitment to ongoing learning through the hygiene mentorship and educational resources provided by Heartland Dental.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Middleburg Family Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Hours Needed

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7:30am-5:30pm, Thursday either 6:30am-3:30 or 7:30-5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of clinical experience necessary
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
