Job summary

Artisan Dental in Madison, WI is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our award-winning, patient-centered practice. This PRN position runs through December 2026 with about 25 shifts, then moves to Mon/Thu 7:00 AM–5:00 PM from Jan 2027, and Mon/Tue 7:00 AM–5:00 PM from Apr 2027.

We use digital X-rays, CAD/CAM, iTero, Dentrix AI and CBCT to deliver top-quality care. Candidates must be licensed hygienists with CPR/BLS, strong clinical skills, and a collaborative, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
• Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments.
• Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments.
• Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients.

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. Schedule

We are looking to hire for a PRN schedule from mid-October through December 2026, with approximately 25 shifts currently available and the potential for additional shifts.

Beginning January 1, 2027, the schedule would transition to Mondays and Thursdays, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Beginning April 1, 2027, the schedule would transition to a consistent Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Key Responsibilities
