Are you an experienced dental hygienist looking to join a growing practice where teamwork, patient care, and professional development are valued? Dental Care of Huntsville is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative and patient-focused team.

Schedule

• Monday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (Lunch 12:00 PM - 12:55 PM)
• Tuesday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM (Lunch 1:00 PM - 1:55 PM)
• Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (Lunch 12:00 PM - 12:55 PM)
• Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (Lunch 12:00 PM - 12:55 PM)
• Friday: TBD

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Alambama and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of clinical experience required.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
