Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Lindenhurst, IL is seeking a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our high-end practice led by Dr. Jay Wygodny. We value teamwork, efficiency, and high-quality care, with a patient-centered approach.

This role offers a Monday to Saturday schedule: Mon 9:00-5:00, Tue 7:00-3:00, Wed 11:00-7:00, Thu 9:00-5:00, Fri 8:00-4:00, Sat 8:00-2:00 (1X month); Saturday off in the same week when worked.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Hygienist in IL
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Proficient with digital charting and computer systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hygiene care, including assessments, cleanings, and patient education
• Conduct patient screenings: review medical/dental history, oral cancer screenings, head/neck inspections, dental charting, BP and pulse, digital radiographs
• Perform prophylaxis using Cavitron/Prophy Jet
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride
• Complete perio charting and treatment documentation
• Take impressions for study models as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition and home care
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment per infection control protocols
• Follow practice protocols including infection control, biohazards, emergencies, implants, perio programs
• Stock supplies, maintain equipment, support recall system
• Build trusting relationships with patients
• Demonstrate professionalism and leadership within the team

Key Responsibilities

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (1X Month)
  • If a Saturday is worked, one weekday off will be provided that same week
