Cannon Crossroads Dental Care is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide high-quality preventive care. The schedule includes Mondays from 7:45 am to 5:30 pm, with a supportive clinic culture and access to mentorship and ongoing education.

You’ll work within a network offering robust clinical support and a commitment to patient-focused care, in a collaborative team environment. This role emphasizes growth and delivering exceptional lifetime care to patients.

Qualificações

• Current North Carolina dental hygienist license.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• CPR Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide dental hygiene care, patient screening, and preventative services.
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation; support clinical team.

About Cannon Crossroads Dental Care

Cannon Crossroads Dental Care, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained team on site, coupled with a vast network of experts across the nation, you’ll be completely connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferred
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
