Job summary

Turkey Creek Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Georgia. The role supports a patient-centered care model with mentorship through Heartland Dental’s hygiene program and strong clinical autonomy in a busy practice.

Requirements include a Georgia dental hygienist license, a dental hygiene degree, and CPR certification. You’ll work Tue–Thu and Fri with early start times to deliver exceptional preventive care to patients.

• Current dental hygienist license in Georgia.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care and patient education as part of the care team.
• Maintain patient records and charting.
• Engage in continuing education and participate in the hygiene mentorship program.

Turkey Creek Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm; Friday 6:45am-4pm

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Georgiaand an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• At least years of clinical experience preferred, willing to consider a new grad with previoius dental experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
