Job summary

Dentalogy, a Heartland Dental partner, is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our Irving, TX team on Fridays from 8am to 1pm. This part-time position supports patients with exceptional preventive care and education in a collaborative practice.

You'll work with a mentor network, access top-quality labs and supplies, and enjoy ongoing professional development within a stable, credentialed organization committed to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Texas dental hygienist license is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays and EMR systems.
• Commitment to continuing education and patient education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification
• Preferred Experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
