Job summary

Boswell Dental Care is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team in Texas. The role offers a Tuesday-Friday schedule, competitive benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, six holidays and PTO), and daily pay.

Qualifications

• Current Texas dental hygienist license and degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional lifetime patient care with full clinical autonomy.
• Deliver education and preventative care to patients.
• Participate in hygiene mentor program and continuing education.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.

• Full-time hours available! Tuesday-Friday Schedule!
  • Monday: Off
  • Tuesday: 8am-5pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Friday: 7am-3pm

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Social media and community involvement experience a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
