DentalWorks in Pennsylvania is seeking an enthusiastic dental hygienist to educate patients on oral health and provide preventive care, from prophylaxis to sealants. Qualifications

• A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and fluoride/sealant applications.
• Accurately chart patient dental history and update periodontal health records, and handle patient records securely (HIPAA).
• Assist as directed by the dentist; administer local anesthetics if allowed by practice act.

We are looking for an enthusiastic dental hygienist who loves building and maintaining positive relationships with patients to join our team!

Our team of dental hygienists perform a variety of preventative dental procedures as well as educate patients on oral hygiene. From routine cleanings to oral health education, you'll be instrumental in helping our patients achieve and maintain their best smiles.

In addition to technical duties, the dental hygienist will play an important role in teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene techniques and offer counseling regarding good nutrition and its impact on oral health.

We are big on teamwork, so you’ll partner with the dentist(s) in your office to provide the best treatment for your patients. We believe in the value of talented people, and we aim to create an environment that engages you professionally.

We also have a dedicated dental hygiene support team for coaching and mentorship for our dental hygienists.
