Glen Carbon Family Dentistry in Glen Carbon, IL is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. This 1-doctor practice uses Dentrix and offers a full benefits package with health, retirement, paid holidays, PTO, and CE coverage.

Full-time is a minimum of 30 hours with clinic schedule 7:30-5:30 on weekdays, plus occasional early Friday hours, and opportunities for daily pay and bonuses. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent and digital radiography preferred.

Qualifications

• Illinois dental hygienist license required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide dental hygiene care to patients following standard protocols.
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical history documentation and patient records.

Glen Carbon Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Location: 4235 S. State Route 159, Glen Carbon,Illinois62034

Work Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 7:30 am-5:30 pm, Thursday 6:30 am-4:30 pm, Fridays 2x a month 7:30 am-12:30 pm

1 doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix!

60min recare, 90min new patient appointment!

Bi-weekly pay + the ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paychecks as earned.

Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses!

We have Arestin, iTero, Velscope + CE coverage available!

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
